The Antiquities Museum and Zahi Hawass Center for Egyptology, affiliated to the Cultural Outreach Sector at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, are organizing a lecture entitled «The Afandina’s Days» by Dr. Maged Mohamed Farag, historian of Egypt’s modern period, Sunday, 4 December 2022; 1:00 pm, at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center, Delegates Hall.

The lecture sheds light on Khedive Ismail, how he ascended the throne, and the most significant achievements during his rule? Why was he exiled? How did he live in exile until his death?
