Demotic

Demotic (Greek dÄ“motikos “popular” or [script] in common use in the daily tasks) is a cursive script which was derived and superseded hieratic from the Saite Period (664-525 BCE). It was used  primarily on papyri and ostraca but occasionally on carved stones, notably the Rosetta Stone. The latest known graffito has been found in the temple of Philae dated to 452 CE.
