Visitors may explore the Antiquities Museum, learn about Egyptian civilization and see the masterpieces discovered at the site of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the treasures salvaged from the Mediterranean as well as other objects displayed at the Museum with our expert guides.
In an effort to expand knowledge and awareness about the different periods of Egyptian history, the Antiquities Museum is organizing education programs and workshops for children and teenagers.

If required; Tour Guiding volunteering opportunities are available for students and graduates of Archaeology, History and Tour Guiding departments, while Information Desk volunteering opportunities are available for students and graduates of all majors, provided that the applicant is fluent in a foreign language and a good level of computer skills. CVs of applicants are received by hand to the Information Desk of the Antiquities Museum, afterwards CVs are sorted and applicants are contacted for interview.
