The Antiquities Museum and the Zahi Hawass Center for Egyptology, affiliated to the BA Cultural Outreach Sector, are organizing a lecture entitled «Portraits of the Boy Kings from Ancient Egypt: Sculptures from the Eras of Tutankhamun and the Ptolemies», Monday, 21 November 2022; 1:00 pm, at the BA, Antiquities Museum, Afterlife Section, by Dr. Paul Edmund Stanwick, New York University.
The lecture sheds light on the depiction of young kings who ruled Egypt several times throughout its history through visual arts, especially circular sculpture.
