The Bibliotheca Alexandrina Antiquities Museum is organizing, in cooperation with the “Polish Conservators of Historic Monuments Institution”, a two-day event at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina entitled “Protection of Cultural Heritage, Polish–Egyptian Conservation seminar”.

Tuesday, 24 March 2015: Presentations will be given by Egyptian and Polish restorers/conservators. The presented topics will deal with the conservation of both historical sites and artifacts.
 

Wednesday, 25 March 2015: The second day will be dedicated to field visits which will include conservation laboratories and a selected historical site. During the visits, archeologists and specialized conservators will discuss the conservation methods applied on the different materials either in situ or after the artifacts are transported to laboratories.
