Writing History between Ancient and Modern Times

Within the framework of preserving the Egyptian identity, the “Writing History between Ancient and Modern Times” project aims to emphasize the role of the BA Antiquities Museum in reviving Egyptian heritage and strengthening ties between past and present. It highlights the nature of work in the field of archaeological excavations and gives a comprehensive idea of the latest archaeological discoveries and projects in conservation and restoration.
 

This project gives a historical brief about the Museum’s collections and traces their journey during the excavation and restoration phases until their current location.
 

The collection of Ras el-Soda Temple will be the project’s focus during the period from 20 September to 20 December 2015.
