Pottery and Its Evolution throughout the Ages

In continuation of the series of summer lectures organized by the BA Antiquities Museum as part of its museum education activities, and with the goal of spreading archeological and cultural awareness amongst children and young people; Professor Samia Saad Rashwan will give a lecture entitled “Pottery and Its Evolution throughout the Ages”. The lecture will be held on Thursday, 7 July 2011, in the Afterlife Hall of the BA Antiquities Museum. The speaker will talk about how pottery originated in Egypt, how it is manufactured, its types and its uses in daily life.
