Egyptian civilization and Egyptian monuments have always attracted all people of passion. And what fascinated amateurs and scholars most were the Egyptian puzzles and mummies mentioned in many novels.
Conscious of how alluring this aspect of the ancient Egyptian civilization is for children and young people, the Antiquities Museum screened a children’s cartoon film in Arabic and English showing the process of mummification and the arrangements that were made to guide the deceased to the underworld.
The film aims to increase children’s awareness with regards to antiquities and culture, and to highlight the advancement of our ancient Egyptian forefathers who were a shining beacon in the dark ancient world.
