Draw and Discover Award Ceremony

The BA Antiquities Museum held an award ceremony for the participants of the Draw and Discover Competition on 22 September 2016. Dr. Tarek El Awady, Director of the Antiquities Museum, delivered a speech to the participants to highlight the significance of the museum and its rare holdings, as well as to raise their archaeological awareness and inform them of their role in preserving their country’s antiquities. The top three winners in the fields of painting and scientific research were announced by Nermine Riad, supervisor of the museum education activities, while Dr. Tarek distributed the awards and certificates of merit. The awards comprised artifact reproductions granted to the BA Antiquities Museum by the Ministry of Antiquities.
