The BA Antiquities Museum currently provides museum education activities for children. Children take tours in the Museum to benefit from the different information provided for them through archeology specialists in a way that suits their ages. This way, children learn by watching and by interacting with the environment around them through workshops that introduce specialized topics on archeology and art, and by drawing and sculpting some selected pieces displayed in the Museum in different methods and using different materials. The children receive training through this activity during the summer vacation.
At the end of the summer season, the BA Antiquities Museum holds an exhibition for museum education, displaying the artworks of the participating children and youth, who also receive appreciation certificates.
The museum education program endorses the main role of the BA Antiquities Museum in preserving the national identity, and strengthen the affiliation of the Egyptian people to their history and civilization. The civilization that developed on the shores of the Nile from the dawn of time, and has amazed the world, is without doubt worth preserving. This cultural heritage, that stands witness to the greatness of the ancestors, cannot survive except through the stimulation of the cultural memory, which is the main role of the Museum.
