The BA Antiquities Museum is organizing a lecture titled “Antiquities Associated with the Journey of the Holy Family in Egypt”. The lecture is going to be held on Thursday, 28 December 2017 at 12:00 noon in the Third Floor Floating Room (F3), and it will be given by Dr. Mary Magdy Anwar, Assistant Professor at the Tourism Guidance Department, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Alexandria University. The researcher will discuss the Holy Family, their journey around Egypt, and the monuments associated with it. She will present the various places around Egypt that were blessed by the Holy Family’s presence; the traces of their presence represented in the wells, trees, and caves sanctified by Jesus; and the creation of the first sacred altar in the world by Jesus Christ in the midst of Egypt. This lecture aims to spread the heritage of the Holy Family’s journey and include its sights in Egypt’s tourist attractions maps.
