The Bibliotheca Alexandrina Antiquities Museum is delighted to invite you to an event on the occasion of International Museum Day (IMD) on Monday, 18 May 2015 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The museum is organizing a workshop to emphasize the essential role of museums as an important means of cultural exchange through strategies for interactive learning.
The workshop will include the following:
- Stamping the Hieroglyphic alphabet
- Making papyrus paper
- Making masks out of balloons and plaster or paper plates
- Making mosaics
- Making wigs
- Making canopic jars out of bottles and plaster
- Making pectorals and bracelets out of construction paper and beads
- Painting with oxide colors
- Competitions and games will be held and prizes will be given out.
