Writing History between Ancient and Modern Times

Within the framework of preserving the Egyptian identity, the “Writing History between Ancient and Modern Times” project aims to emphasize the role of the BA Antiquities Museum in reviving Egyptian heritage and strengthening ties between the past and present. It highlights the nature of work in the field of archaeological excavations and gives a comprehensive idea of the latest archaeological discoveries and projects in conservation and restoration.
This project gives a historical background about the museum’s collections and traces their journey from the excavation and restoration phases to their current location.
The collection of Tutankhamun will be the project’s focus during the period from 30 December 2015 to 30 March 2016.
